MORE POLICE BRUTALITY IN LOS SANTOS
Police Brutality on Full Display as Innocent Reporter Detained: A Firsthand Account by Dashawn Johnson
Yo, what it do, fam? It's ya boy, Dashawn Johnson, coming at you live from the back of a cop car, where I'm currently chilling in some shiny new bracelets that I most definitely did not ask for. Yeah, you heard that right. I was out here doing my thang, bringing you the latest and greatest news from the streets, when the po-po decided to swoop in and snatch me up like I was some kinda hardened criminal.
Lemme set the scene for y'all: I'm out here on the corner of 5th and Main, reporting on the new donut shop opening up (cuz who don’t love donuts, amirite?), when outta nowhere, these cops roll up on me. I'm thinking, "Cool, they wanna get in on this donut action." But nah, they ain't here for no glazed goodness. They got something else in mind.
Before I know it, one of them grabs me, and I'm like, "Whoa, whoa, whoa, what's the deal, officer?" But they ain't listening. Next thing I know, I'm face down on the hood of their car, getting a close-up of their siren lights. They’re yelling, I’m yelling – it’s a whole mess.
I’m tryna tell them, "Yo, I'm Dashawn Johnson, news reporter extraordinaire! I got my mic, I got my press badge, I got everything legit!" But they ain't hearing none of that. They slap them cuffs on me like I'm public enemy number one. And lemme tell ya, them cuffs is tight. I ain't never felt something so uncomfortable in my life, and I been through some stuff, ya feel me?
So now here I am, stuck in the back of this police car, tryna make sense of this nonsense. I mean, what kinda world we living in where a hardworking reporter can't even do his job without getting harassed and brutalized by the folks supposed to protect and serve? This some straight-up police brutality, no cap.
It's a sad day when the news becomes the news. But don't you worry, fam. I'mma keep bringing you the real story, no matter where they try to put me. Dashawn Johnson ain't going down without a fight. We gotta stand up against this kinda injustice and let them know we ain't gonna take it no more.
So stay tuned, and keep your eyes peeled. This story ain't over yet. Dashawn Johnson, signing off... for now. Peace!
